GARDNER ROBERTS MEMORIAL LIBRARY MOVES HOME IN 2007

DEDICATION

     The community joined together for a memorial dedication and celebration of the accomplishment on July 26, 2007.  Mundt-Allen Post American Legion presented the Colors and Senator Norman K. Ferguson, Jr. was the master of ceremonies.  Eleven year old Marcello De Luca sang the National Anthem.  Following dedication remarks by Ray Taylor everyone enjoyed good food and music by Brandon Moore and the Blake Brothers Band.  The Gardner Roberts Memorial Library has been moved and beautifully refurbished.  "We now know that our lovely little library has a new home."

     The officers and trustees of Gardner Roberts Memorial Library wish to express appreciation to everybody who donated money, materials and labor to make the relocation of our building a success.  We also appreciate the conscientious efforts of the contractors who worked on the project.  We feel our library can again be a useful part of our community.
